The foregoing chapters have thus demonstrated that it is possible to understand the differentiation of systems of semiotic potential (in population of organisms) from general systems of behavioural potential (in individual organisms) as being the same general process as the differentiation of systems of somatic potentials (in population of cells) from general systems of biological potential (in individual cells). The general similarity is summarised in Table 13.1.
